# Contacts

When someone submits a rental application, they will automatically get created as a Contact in Keyholder.

However, you can also add Contacts yourself before they submit rental applications.

**The Steps**

**Step 1**

On the main menu, click Contacts

**Step 2**

On the top right of the page, click the purple + Contact button.

**Step 3**

You will need to select from the dropdown if the Contact is an Applicant, Tenant, Agent or Landlord.

**Step 4**

You are required to enter a First Name, Surname, Phone and Email address for each Contact.

**Step 5**

Finally, click Create Contact and your new Contact will be added to Keyholder
